its because Phineas knows everything, or can tell the future or something like that, and hes just spouting out random things that people will eventually know, but he already knows (although im pretty sure everyone already knows that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalkers father). the Maltese Falcon is a film and the next superbowl is pretty self explanatory
