CHAPTER FIFTEEN
We sat in the big house, telling Chiron everything. "After that, something happened," I said, then I looked at Percy. He had been the one to notice it in the first place.
"When we were just outside the camp, Eos's sighn appeared above Emma's head," Percy looked at Chiron, "It just doesn't make-"
"Percy, it perfectly well does. Aphrodite informed me that it was just a ploy. I'm not sure why, but it was."
We all stared at Chiron for what seemed like forever. Eventually, I said, "So I'm a daughter of Eos."
Chiron nodded, "Yes, Emma, you are."
Well, I had always thought that my godly parent would be guy because that makes my step-dad my dad and my mom my step-mom. That'll take some getting used to. (I also thought that when Aphrodite claimed me.)
After that strangness, we all went back to our cabins. Well, I went to my old cabin to get my stuff. Then I went to my new cabin.
I didn't have to share atleast.
I sat on the dock off canoe lake. It was curfew, but I wasn't that tired.
Janie sighed and stood up. "Aren't you going to your new cabin. You can rub it in all you want. I would die to be you right now."
I smiled mockingly, "Sure you would. You're still Aphro's kid-"
"Mom wouldn't like that," she smiled and held out her hand.
"So? She's not my mom. Just another random family member in our immortally messed up family."
"Is immortally a word?"
I shrugged. "I don't really care. 'Sides, I'm not sleepy."
She frowned, "At all?"
I shook my head, "At all."
"Hmm..."
"What?"
"Well, you just finished your first quest, I honestly thought you would be..."
"Honestly thought you would be!" I repeated in a cheesey British accent.
The sides of her lips curved. Just a little bit. "Wow, talk about not being the brightest-"
We both heard footsteps and tensed. Janie turned. "Next time, warn us!" Janie said to Carter. Then she turned back to me, "'Night."
"I'll talk to you in the morning," I said.
And then she left.
Carter sat down next to me on the edge of the dock. We were silent for a while.
"So..." I said.
"So...?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes. "C'mon, really?"
"Really what?"
"Don't you get it silly?" I asked, a smile playing at my lips, "I like you."
He didn't say much, except for a small, "Oh."
So, I kissed him. It was fast but afterwards we both laughed our butts off. (I don't know why.)
Then we both sat there, in silence, as we starred at the moon that was glistening off the water.
Well, random, yet awesome...I think. Keep on looking back at the Immortal Links Info page for updates on my next fanfictions. I'm doing four more Percy Jackson FF.
Thank you for your support, and I promise I'm not R.R. in disguese.
DISCLAIMER! I do not own Camp half-blood or any of the characters that Rick has created.
Bye!
