Well, the title explains most of it so let's cut to the Chase because I feel the pressure building up inside of me. :/
1 Why the Hades/Pluto/Freya Jason flies
So this one was born when I was writting today about Jason having to fly off to save someone and Thalia, two feet planted on the ground, shooting arrows. And I thought, would nobody have bothered telling Thalia she can fly?
And then I scanned through the list of things Jason did that Thalia didn't. (NO I do not think being a tree changed her power somehow. Well...)
This was the first thing I thought of.
"You're back. How did it go?
Jason hesitated. "Sorry? I think you've mistaken me"
"No, no, Jason Grace, aren't you? It was-what-last year? You were on your way to fight a dea monster, I believe."
"I-I don't remember."
Aeolus laughed. "Must not have been a very good sea monster! No, I remember every hero who's ever come to me for aid. Odysseus- gods, he docked at my island for a month! At least you only stayed a few days."
-Aeolus and Jason page 413
So this is my idea.
Son of the sky lord vs. sea monster. Nice chances, mate! (unless Percy has a sister... OH!)
And Jason as the bloody amazing strategist he apparently is realises this. And he knows he can't fight this thing on land or on water, so air is his best bet. But he can't fly. So Jason goes and asks Aeolus for some help, and Aeolus blesses him or something and Jason has the winds at his command!
"geyser of air", "surfing the wings", does it not make sence? All those thing reffer to wind control and what the heck does Aeolus do in life? He controls the wind! (and runs the OW! channel...)
I'm quite proud of this theory so be polite when you shoot it down ;)
2 Leo and Piper aren't so rarisimo
So I know Piper isn't the only charmspeaker just as much as I know rarisimo is not a word, but this has to get out.
So I've been thinking, if you need to prove your value as a fighter when to get into Camp Ceasar Salad (or Lupa's stomach, whichever), I was thinking "How the Hades do the children of Venus do it?" I mean, from what Piper describes her siblings as...
I have 2 theories.
1 So the Greeks get the softer, chiller and more-into-fashion side of mommy while the Romans get the kickass one Aphrodite got while looking through armour at Medea's shop.
2 There are a lot of charm speakers on the other side.
Rome was a goverment-style-thing. They did have votes and when you're trying to win someone over, wouldn't a nice charmspeaker be usefull? Wouldn't it just be a nice asset to camp anyways? I mean, the Romans weren't into discussion and peace treaties too much, but hey, if it can turn your way...
So what if it was meant that the children of Venus got the gift of charmspeak specifically so they do NOT end up killed? Makes sence, right? Right?
Personally, I think the answer is a mix of 1 and 2.
But this leads me to Valdez.
So what if Leo isn't the only fire-user? What if it's something Hephaestus/Vulcan/whatshisface decided to give to Roman campers, specifically for the battle-side of things? (even though you'd keep them around for the weapons and boats and junk)
But what if Hephaestus needs a bunch of fire users at handy in a just-in-case or whatever dilemna? And he decided that he might as well put them all in the same Camp so they can help each other learn control and junk? No explination for why Leo has it, but hey. Leo is special. Don't dare deny it. Especially not to my face. Grr.
3. Why Valdez is dreaming of flying boats?
No but seriously, what are the friggin odds? What are the odds that Leo Valdez who's also conveniently a fire user draws boats that were also drawn more then a hundred years before in childhood? I mean, seriously?
Leo might be part oracle.
I know, I know, it's weird, but I know Leo's brilliant but this exceeds Einstein brilliance here, which Leo will only earn in book 2(right now he's at a Galileo level).
So something informed Leo of this boat. A god or precognitious powers.
The more likely idea is that it was Hera/Juno/Tìa Callida. But I just wanted to put that out there because it reminds me of Rachel in Last Olympian drawing NYC at war, or Luke as a 9 year old.
Something about that worth sharing there was an oracle called Heracles that showed the futur with paintings. Ah... (Heracles wasn't his full name by the way, if you're more interesting you can google him)
That's it for now, discussion in comments because we need a subject of conversation right now!
I'll most likely publish these articles through-out the wait everytime I come up with 3 good ones. Sometimes I don't have enough to make 1 theory article so I end up with 3 in 1 thingies. Hope you enjoyed!

I was reading Percy Jackson, like always, and a sudden inspiration hit me. I wondered...what if there are people in the U.S. right now that have these names in the story? I have started out with the Seven from the prophecy, and am going to add more later. Add this to your bucket list: try to meet one of these people before you die! Enjoy!
There are 4 people in the U.S. with the name Perseus Jackson.
There are 113 people with the name Frank Zhang.
There is 1 person with the name Piper McLean.
There are 10 people with the name Hazel Levesque.
There are 103 people with the name Jason Grace.
There are 61 people with the name Leo Valdez.
There is 1 person with the name Annabeth Chase.

Piper wakes up one morning at Camp Half-Blood, ready for a normal day at her favorite place on earth. But that day wasn't what she expected. Her world is flipped upside-down when she notices differences in the world around her. For one thing, her friends don't seem the same as they were, and since when was her mother the goddess of hatred? Piper doesn't know if this is all a prank, or it's really happening. Can she find out how to get things back to normal?
I hope you like this:) It's not going to be a full-out story, maybe 20 or so chapters. I haven't decided yet.
