The Hunger Games Question

Do I look like Primrose (would I be a suitable Primrose in the Hunger Games movie)?

My dream role in the Hunger Games movie is Primrose, so I would like to know, do I look like her? Please be honest with me, for some casting directors won't even let you audition if you don't look the part. Thank you!

@roza2: Since when does Prim run around in the forest like Katniss? Katniss is athletic. That doesn't mean Prim is. And besides, Prim doesn't get enough nutrients to be athletic. I still say go for it ailurusfulgen!

Thank you for the support! I was really sad that nobody thought I'd be a good Prim. Thank you! I was beginning to think that I didn't have a shot. I'm glad to see that there are optimists on this website.^^

You're welcome! Too many people think of the "dolled-up" actresses for these characters. You're more real and fit the Prim vibe for me. I hope you can audition! :)

Everyone is disagreeing about if I look the right age or not, lol. bookworm18 (below) said I looked too old. But thanks for answering anyways (and I am younger than 12, so it's understandable that I look too young).

Thank you for answering, but I don't believe it ever said she had short hair. Actually, I'm certain it never said she had short hair. Even if she did, I can get a haircut. Thanks for telling what your thought, you're too kind!

They said Rue reminds Katniss of Prim but still they change how people look sometimes.

I don't really think you fit the part, I mean yes you have somethings down, but you have to remember that Prim goes through a lot, do you think you could pull it off? Also Prim is 12 but she is supposed to look a lot younger. I can make a guess that you are about 12-13 but Prim looks younger. But don't take this wrong, there are other parts out there. Keep your hope, you'll go somewhere in life :) In my mind Elle Fanning is who I would cast as Prim...

Actually, I'm younger than 12. (whistles) I do believe I can do it. I've been on TV about 6 times, in films, and many plays; both community theatre and school. And I always get the depressed sad wimpy characters... SO I could do it. I can cry on command and everything. Actually, it never said Prim looked young. It said she was short, but being short doesn't mean you're young looking. I know people shorter than me that are very mature looking. Again, I'm not 12 yet, lol! BTW, that's a picture of Elle 6 years ago.... But thanks for telling me what you thought! It means a lot!

ppl say i look like prim and also say when they read it they saw me as Rue. I want to try out b/c acting is my altime fave thing to do. I love it! I am twelve just like rue. you look a little too tall but try anyway you could blow them away. I'm the shorty in the middle!! lol! One is kneeling and the other is crouching so they can put their arm around me. HAHA!
