The end. I hate that Gale left. I hate that she put an epilogue, because it gets rid of the opportunity for readers to imagine that themselves. I hate that so many people ended up dead.

I hate Prim's death. The whole entire series starts with Katniss trying to protect her. That's why she goes into the Hunger Games in the first place. When Prim died... I just feel like it was all for nothing. And I also HATE how they act like her death was Gale's fault, just because it was his bomb. It's not like he knew that would happen. That's unfair.

The last book was good but traumatic to me. Seriously all main characters are either completely altered from their experiences or dead. I wasn't really expecting everything to be tied up neatly and everyone to live happily ever after, but this was rough. I felt emotionally drained after I finished it (I had trouble sleeping that night). I wish it was a little less... shocking.

How they never gave you that much background on Gale. Or how there's so many un-needed deaths, injuries, and fights. I didn't like it how it was only written through Katniss' point of veiw. If she had written it where throughout the games, you get a look through Peeta's mind and see how he reacts to everything. I would have also liked to see the story through Gale's and Cinna's mind, to get a grasp about the'r real thoughts, and not just what Katniss thought they were.
The book would have been that more epic if it had been written that way.

Finnick's death was absolutely unecessary. I hate it.
Also, the part of Mockingjay where those kids are blown up because a) They're kids, b) It leads to Prim dying, and c) that whole chapter was just written so differently. It was like Katniss was just observing her surroundings peacefully, just being a bystander (there's a park, there's a plaza, there are kids being brutally murdered, then OH MY GOD, PRIIIIIIIM!!!!).
Also, as much as I hated him, I wish Katniss and Gale at least stayed friends, though I suppose it would be an awkward relationship.

I have two. One thing is Gale. Second thing is the last book. It was as if Suzanne Collins just gave up on everybody. Who kills a twelve year old little girl! who kills Finnick?? That war was pretty much useless.

Lets see...Rue's death(one of my most favorite characters)Finnick's death(pissed that he never got to meet his son)I also hated that we didnt get to find more out about Gale after the war like if he ever got married and had kids or whatever. And the epilouge of booke 3.The kids had no names? It doesnt really bug me but I would have preferred their kids to have actual names instead of "the boy" and "the girl".

First off, in answer to all the comments so far; I personally LOVE reading tragic deaths. They're always so touching, and are usually my faourite part in just about any book. I personally don't see this as a series that could have an entirely happy ending, and I'm glad. I'm sick of all the "And they live happily ever after in their little castles with fairies and unicorns and rainbows."

However, something I HATE... hard one. Let's see... Well, Finnick's death, for one. Not because it's tragic. On the contrary. It's too... glossed over. I'm reading, and then I can't come across Finnick anymore and I go, wait a minute, were's Finnick gone? Then I read back over the last few pages and realise that it mentioned his death. IN PASSING. I mean, noone could miss Rue's death, or Prim's. Or Cinna's for that matter, even though he was simply dragged out of the room.

Gale always getting blamed for killing Prim IT WASN'T HIS FAULT.
And Gale leaving I think the shock was worse when he left than it would ever be if he died
