Is ANYBODY else upset that Josh Hutcherson is Peeta?

Nope.

At first I was, truly. He does NOT strike me as Peeta, in the slightest. But then again, the author thought that, although he doesn't exactly look the part, he played the character perfectly. That's what really counts, right? The looks they can fix with makeup. As long as he captures the character well, and as long as the author was perfectly pleased with the decision, I'm good :)

Me! I don't really like Josh. They should have gotten someone better for Peeta. Hunter Parrish would have been great. Or Chord Overstreet, he would have been amazing and yummy. :)

Josh is a good actor, but personaly he looks nothing like how I would have pictured Peeta when reading the books

nope! he looks sweet and innocent, which is what Peeta is. But he looks like he can have a dark side, which Peeta does, lol. But if youve seen a good picture of him with blonde hair and blue eyes, then you would have to say it looks good :) I already uploaded one onto here, its the one with the bright green backround and him wearing an olive green jacket

I thought it was a bit weird, I really wanted Peeta to be Alex Pettyfer... :(

But he fits the description, although I think Peeta should have a lighter hair color.

I think that Josh is a great actor but seriously he looks a lot younger than Jennifer Lawrence and yes they will probably make him look older but, honestly even if they do I still wish there was someone else playing Peeta Mellark

I was absolutely gutted when i found out that josh was playing peeta. he does not look ANYTHING like i imagined him. i think they have made a very wrong choice if it is purely based on looks, but i guess we'll have to see how he portrays the charachter to make a final judgement <3
