Personally I like Gale. Peeta is perfectly fine too, and I love Peeta, but I have to choose Gale because I don't think the author gave him much time or room to prove himself to Katniss like Peeta did. And then Peeta got her and Gale left without a word. I guess I feel sorry for Gale, not to mention Liam Hemsworth is cute :P. He didn't really get many chances with Katniss after the Hunger Games. I also like that he's such a decision maker. Peeta can do that too, but Gale thinks of it and either does it or doesn't do it. There is no middle for him.
I have to say Gale is my ultimate favorite. But I like Peeta almost as much. Omigosh I love Josh Hutcherson xD

I didn't have a problem with Gale until he went insane in Mockingjay. Peeta is my favorite. Not because he's hot, but because he's smart, sweet and insightful. He really loves Katniss. I also like that he isn't selfish like Gale.
