The Hunger Games Question

A question was added.

Lol sorry for the title when you clicked on it.
Here's my question.
Would you agree with Katniss and everyone else who wanted there to be Hunger Games for the Capitol children? Why or why not?
Personally, I disagree with Katniss because I believe Peeta was right. That's what they were fighting against in the first place. And the Capitol children were innocent; they grew up the way they did and didn't know any better.
So what would've been your choice? Would you have issued the Capitol Hunger Games or no?

Maybe once to show the Capitol what it's like seeing your children being put into an arena and forced to kill each other. Show them what it's like to see their own inoccent blood being spilt all for entertainment. Eye for an eye sorry to say.

NO, I am totally against that idea!
You're right, it was why they were fighting-- this punishment led to all this fighting, and it's not right to treat the children this way. They're just innocent children, just like all the kids in the Districts... they were just brought up differently, but that doesn't mean they should fight to the death.
I would never issue the Capitol Hunger Games, because the whole idea is just sick-- why create a duplicate of the Hunger Games with Capitol children?

I don't think Katniss ever intended to let there be a Hunger Games with Capitol children, she just agreed to get the oppurtunity to kill Coin. By then, she realized that Coin was the exact same as Snow, and the only way to handle it, was by taking her out.

Well, I guess that I can see ot from both sides. LOADS of 12-18 yr olds died cuz of THG, and I'd want revenge and want the capitol to feel pain, but I just fought to STOP that, so i'd go with stoping it all together

No, I don't agree at all. That's what they were fighting against, were the Hunger Games and the Capitol. It pissed me off when Katniss agreed that it should happen. Why? For what? So you could look just as bad as Pres. Snow did?

It's just like putting the district children in the Hunger Games.

No. Definitely no.

I could see the revenge appeal of putting Snow and the gamemakers in themselves. But their children and grandchildren? Those kids have nothing to do with the games except for an accident of birth! Just because they've been lucky enough to be exempt from the Reapings before doesn't mean they should be punished now. Also, if the Capitol ever regained power, the Capitol Games would increase the risk of the old Hunger Games being reinstated.
