The Hunger Games Question

Should I write my English Essay on Katniss or Finnick?

I have to do this essay on the introduction of a character and how the author does it blah, blah blah, and after deciding to do the Hunger Games trilogy I got stuck on whether to choose Katniss or Finnick?

Finnick would be easier. Since, Katniss is actually introduced, so you'd get her perspective as well as your own. However Katniss could work as well. I'd need a little more than blah, blah, blah to know which charcater would be the best to do your essay on.

I would also choose finick. But there is more info. on katniss. But i need more info. On things like how long does the essay have to be? If i can be short (one or two pages) i would go with finick but if it has to be long (more than two pages) go with katniss.

It only has to be 300-500 words, it's not a major essay. It just determines my writing skill. But the actual brief stated that I have to write about the introduction of a character that I love (hence Finnick ;D) and how the author does it. Like, is it with a physical description or dialogue etc.

The reason I'd say Finnick, is because Katniss isn't really introduced, I mean you could talk about how she obviously isn't a regular since she starts off talking about drowning a cat, but since you're in her head, it's kind of like you're her. Finnick on the other hand is introduced.

Finnick. if you really think about it, he has a vrey interesting back story, with Annie and everything. I don't know if you've seen this or not but it really made me appreciate him more and dig deep into his true character when I read the books. He is definetly my favorite now.
