My favourite protagonists are Peeta and Katniss. However, if I were to choose between the two, I would go for Peeta Mellark. Moreover, he has something of a cordial air about him and his congenial, fun and laid-back attitude can make him fun to be around (ask Caesar Flickerman!). Furthermore, notwithstanding the fact that he formed an alliance with the career tributes, one would have to admire Peeta's audacity and courageous attributes. Also, he is very handsome as well as possessing a somewhat pulchritudinous personality, too!
