What happened to Cinna? did he die or just get turned in to the capitol?

We don't know what happened to Cinna (Yet), we can just guess at it for the time being until were told what happened to him (probably in the next book)

i'm sorry to be a downer but the best we can hope for cinna will be a avox. President snow has enough bait with just peeta so it doesn't seem like he would let someone just defy him like that.

Cinna is one of the coolest characters in the book. I don't think Collins killed him off... I think that President Snow either turned him into an avox or perhaps he somehow escaped. Or maybe Cinna used his cunning wit to talk himself out of a sentence.

Even though the odds are highly against it I hope he lives! He was my fav and I would seriously have a minor heartattack if he died! I know he most likely did but I still imagine there is a little hope that he lived. As to answer the question, no one knows
