Why don't people like mockingjay as much as the other books?

I think its because the other books r so intense and fast pace but Mocking Jay is kind of a slow dragging book i mean it gets good once you get going but they talk about the same thing like the whole book and it gets a little old ..well thts what i think hope i helped!:)

MockingJay is my favorite book! As for the other people? It's their opinion, I guess. My mom didn't like it either. She said it was too boring and bland, and said too much. But I loved it. Especially the epilogue.

I think that it might be becuse it is the last book. or that the acton was here and there and not very continus like the other two books.

honestly, i love mockingjay. its not the best book in the series, though. some people say its too slopilly written. like suzanne collins was trying to pack to much stuff into one paragraph. i think that suzanne collins was tring to rap up the series to soon. she was trying to end it all in one book. if she would have made the series into a saga, as in mockingjay wouldnt have been the last book, then mockingjay would have have been alot better.

I've talked to my friend about this, and we both think that it's because there's no action in an arena. Even though in Catching Fire they don't even enter the arena til the last part of the three, there's still all the action of being in it. In Mockingjay, as other people have said, the action is kind of spread out. However, I think that the events that occur make sense. Also, many people who have read it dislike who Katiss becomes, and some even hate the ending (I won't spoil it for those who don't already know). I do like it, but not as much as the others.

because most of the important characters are already dead, and because once you finish it, you have nothing to look forward to

Because most of their favorite characters are brutally killed by the end of it.

Because it's depressing.
Nah, joking. But it kinda is.
Honestly, I don't know, but it might do with the fact that it's not like the other 2 books, it's only about war.
