Does anyone know what happens in mockingjay cause I've only read the first two books and I really want to know what happens in the the third?!?! ( I am fine with spoilers just don't give away too much info)

There is a war/rebellion between the districts and the Capitol. Katniss officially becomes the Mockingjay for District 13. That's all I'm going to spoil.

Well, I didn't really like MockingJay, to me it was the worst one. Too rushed, boring and random pointless events. Certain people died that kind of ruin it, a lot of fans were angry about characters being killed off with no meaning.

(SPOILER ALERT WARNING)

Boggs, Prim and Finnick were main people that died along with President Snow and Coin.
Finnick got ripped apart by lizard things, Prim was burned alive by Gale who was tricked into dropping bombs down on the Capital. Katniss hated Gale after that, which I highly disapprove of, now that I think about it, Gale only designed the bombs. He didn't drop the bomb with a smile and saying,

"YES! DIE PRIM DIE! I WANT KATNISS TO HATE ME FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE AND MARRY A DUDE THAT ALMOST KILLED HER MORE THAN ONCE!"

(Peeta got brainwashed by the Capital and thinks of Katniss as an enemy, but she married him anyways to endanger her future children -gross, I'd die before I'd think of getting knocked up by some brainwashed, soft penis, debutodd-)

I've read mocking jay like 2 years ago and I vaguely remember it but some messed up stuff happens. The Capitol brainwashes Peeta and he thinks katniss is the enemy. Katniss has like this mission to kill president snow and I think she succeeds??? Idk and I was surprised when Prim(katniss' sister) died!! I'm sure there are other things that happen but I forgot :P

In mockingjay,Katniss and Finnick escape the Quarter Quell alive and are taken to district 13 while Peeta and Johanna are held captive and were tortured.Peeta does suffer memory loss from tracker jacker venom and forgets about his love for Katniss. The eventually find Peeta and Johanna and is brought back to district 13.At the end President Snow dies and Katniss and Peeta are brought back to district 12 which was bombed and totally destroyed.Everyone dies except for Greasy Sae and her Mom.(Prim dies from a two shot bomb which was made possibly by Gale) Katniss and Peeta learn to love each other all over again.
