The Hunger Games Question

Do the Careers only train in fighting or do they learn other stuff as well?

I'd have thought that learning survival skills, e.g. hunting, making a shelter, signs for water and edible food, would be useful too. But Katniss, from her thoughts about her plan to destroy their supplies, seems to assume they know nothing of this. And it'd also make sense for them to study the different arenas used in the past, their particular dangers and benefits, the mutts and other threats used.

Well, i, for one would definitley train in other areas, but i'm sure fighting was their best by far. like fighting nature itself would probably help. lol thats a funny thought. but for real like wolves or something.

You do realise they only do that because they're trying to survive and win? Same as Katniss and Peeta. Same as every character who's ever been in the Games.
