The cast of Everybody Loves Raymond is reacting to the shocking death of Sawyer Sweeten, who played one of the young twins on the beloved series.

“I’m shocked, and terribly saddened, by the news about Sawyer,” Ray Romano said (via the Daily Mail). “He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around. Just a great energy whenever he was there. My heart breaks for him, his family, and his friends during this very difficult time.”

Sawyer‘s older sister Madylin, who was also on the show, confirmed to Us Weekly that he committed suicide.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that the hit series "Everybody Loves Raymond" will be the 2014 television inductee into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The show will be honored at the 2014 NAB Show Television Luncheon, April 7 in Las Vegas.
