So once again you guys have the opportunity to get in my head of what I think the next HoO book RR blesses us with will look like.
Before I start you peoples off, I need to say something. So shush and listen. When I wrote "The Lost Hero, written by me", I had to guess who the parents were. Well now, I know. So I am following Rick Riordan's version of the characters. Piper has nothing to do with Persephone, Jason and Thalia are siblings and Camp Ceasar Salad is real. For my series of fanfics, I'm following my version of the characters, but here, Rick's versions rule. Get it? Title: The Son of Neptune Rating: C Type: Adventure, friendship, hopefully humor, maybe a touch of romance Characters: Add, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Drew, Leo, Jake, Nyssa OC personalities: Reyna, Dakota, Hazel, Gwen, Bobby, Caleb OC: The Gayle brothers, Karren Synopsis: After discovering a new world, not so far from their own, Jason and his friends are sailing straight for it, unsure wheter they'll come out victorious or just start a civil war. But it doesn't take the arrival of a flying boat to get the citizens curious. They already sence something is wrong, way before the flying ship docks. Disclaimer: The story base, character and settings base was created by Rick Riordan, who owns the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Heroes of Olympus rights. A/N: Hopefully you guys will like it! Please read this, and read it carefully. I understand some of you are new to fanpop and forums in general, I totally get it. But if you have something to add to your previous comment, click on the grey pencil and add (no pun intended) to it. I am getting very tired of all this spam. If after this chapter I get 3 or more spammy coments, I will report the users and stop publighing until the 25, and trust me, I think I can count the people who will back me up on this one. barogr (above) is absolutely right about the rules. And if you post comments to make me work faster or try to locate me, you're wasting your time and electricity/battery your computer is running on. I worked hard at the beggining to be chapters previously, you guys get a chapter every week as opposed to some fan fictions, I cut some time off from the novel I'm presently writtign for a project that brings back but pride and joy to me. Please, please be considerate about this.
On a lighter note, welcome to all new fans! Muffin baskets are at my right hand side, you know the drill.

But of course since I try to post chapters with my comments, and since Hanukkah already began, if anybody celebrates it, here is an ishy chapter. I want to get constructive critisism (please dont mention the grammar) and comments with thought, and I am serious about the end-of-posting.

Star night, star bright
I sat on the roof of Zeus’ house.
I don’t know if I was allowed or not, but I always did it at the city. It was just a piece of home I could get here.
I wondered what Bobby, Dakota, Hazel, Gwen, Reyna and Caleb had done for their Christmas day. Gwen’d probably pulled one of the Mercury stunts,Caleb’d probably forced everyone in a Christmas hat…
I starred up at the stars trying to map out constellations. I was clueless in that domain, much to Thalia’s desperation. For a moment I was tempted to go know on the door of cabin 8. Then I remembered the red slap mark on Connor Stoll’s cheek last time he said hi to a hunter. I might be Thalia’s brother, but I opted out. Besides, they might have already left.
Then I noticed a streak of light, coming out from a slightly opened cabin door. Cabin 8. Annabeth walked out, walking rapidly. She whipped her eyes with her hands as she walked.
She disappeared in the forest.
I decided to follow her. I jumped off the roof and landed on my feet. I straightened up and followed her.
I realised she was heading the same way she’d gotten me to follow her during capture-the-flag, to Zeus’ fist.
She was sitting on top of the pile, looking at the sky. Her hair was pulled in a high ponytail. I floated up behind her.
-Annabeth? I asked. She grabbed her dagger and turned towards me, the blade at my throat.
-Oh, Jason. She said. I saw in the full moon’s light that tears tracked on her cheeks as she lowered the blade, reflecting her sadness.
-Do you mind..?
-No. She said. She scooted and I sat down next to her, as she brought the sleeve of her sweater to wipe her eyes.
-You okay? I asked.
-I’d say yes, but I don’t like lying. She said.
-You miss him, don’t you?
-Incredibly. She said
-And it’s killing you that you’re stuck here waiting for June?
-Slowly and painfully. How did you..?
-Because it’s the exact thing for me, I said. Except I have no idea why we’re stuck waiting. You must have at least one idea.
-Yes. And I forced Chiron to tell me earlier today. She said. I imagined the conversation she must’ve had and smiled.
-He says that after ‘Frisco we are going straight for Greece. And probably Rome if some of the myths are accurate; Sicily is part of Rome. Percy needs to stay at the City and gain their trust before we get there. Then they might not only follow you to the Mediterranean, but come for themselves. If you’re the only Roman who trusts us, and Percy’s the only Greekthey trusts, it won’t work and we’ll just be at each other’s throats sooner. Chiron says it will take time for him to truly gain the trust of everyone. Annabeth said.
-And you think?
-Why does it matter? It will change nothing.
-Just curious. She sighed.
-If Percy makes it out of the city safe, I’d trust your people, Jason. But if he doesn’t, I don’t know if I’ll get over it.
We both starred at the sky for a few moments.
-Jason, can I ask you a question?
-Umm, already did, but sure.
-You need to promise to answer truthfully. Annabeth said, dead serious.
-I will. I said.
-Then do you think… Do you think Percy has a chance to survive at your city?
Ouch… That was the one question I’d hoped nobody would ask. They’d all whispered it, and I’d answered it a few times but Annabeth… I couldn’t tell Annabeth the horrible truth. I couldn’t lie to her either. But how could I tell her the truth?
-Two of my best friends, a daughter of Trivia and a daughter of Mercury.Hazel and Gwen. They are 2 of the funniest people I know. And both of them are funny as heck, but they’ve taught me [i]so much[i/].Hazel came to camp when she was 8. She used to live a circus life, her dad was an illusionist that travelled with a popular circus, but he died in a car accident when they were travelling, so after a week of scrambling on her own, she got taken to camp. When we were 9 she told me it was like her dad was just hiding in a trap door or under a curtain again, but whenever she’d wake up in the middle of the night crying or got a jinx in the head, her dad would be right at her side again, ready for whatever mess she’d gotten herself into. She says it doesn’t matter where the people you love are, but they’re always with you. And Gwen- she’s from a big family. She has 2 brothers younger than her, twins like the Stolls-children of Mercury as well, a step-sister and a mortal half-sister, and she’s the oldest out of all that.
When she got taken to camp, she was 9. In the struggle to get her out of a drakon-increased flaming building, she lost her own twin brother, Evan. She used to not finish her sentences because she was too used of Evan being there and understanding, then explaining to people around her. She used to forget that she couldn’t switch from Latin to Cymraeg (tongue spoken in Wales) because none of us spoke it. It was hard for her, but she always said that whenever something goes missing it’s one of her brothers, and it doesn’t matter which one, because it always reminds her, and always will remind her, of Evan. I guess what I’m saying is that it doesn’t matter where he is; he’s always going to be with you.
-Is that a very metaphoric way of saying you don’t think he’ll make it? She asked.
-If he passes the test he might find my friends. Depending on how he approaches them, he might make it. If he does, he won’t have to worry about the Stupido squad or any other camper. Caleb is the most powerful half-blood at camp now, if Lupa got called back like Bachus –err Dionysus-, Dakota’s empress, nobody wants to get Bobby angry, he’s known for his bombs and Hazel specialises in spells that you don’t want your face to get hit with, trust me. Gwen’s sense of revenge is merciless and Reyna…Reyna you just want to keep on your good side.But… But they’re also… Rather unfriendly with strangers since the war. It depends on Hazel, I think. She has instincts like an oracle. That’s exactly how people follow her. And she never trusts. She trusts a few people, but she’s been on shaky ground since her dad died. But when someone really worth it comes along, boom, they’re in. That’s how it worked with Caleb, and it’s the only reason she really got accepted. Hazel and Gwen managed to spread some pep on her somehow. If she accepts Percy, then probably so will they.
-What’s the test?
-You have to prove your power and worth. If you fail, you die. I said. Annabeth exhaled.
-Then if his instincts at least persist, he’ll have no problem.
-They will, Juno wants to keep him alive.
-Oh you don’t… Oh… You think he followed Hera’s orders to make space between camp and him? Oh, heck no! Hera, Percy and I… It never really… He wouldn’t have listened to anything Hera would’ve said. I think another god had to talk to him.
-Really? Who?
-I’m not sure. He respects Hestia, or it could be Poseidon, or so many more... She went back to a troubled expression.
-Hey, he’ll survive the test. I can’t promise about the rest, but he’ll survive the test. I said. She looked up at the stars.
-I wish he gets back home, Jason, I wish he does. She said, her voice full of longing and pain. She looked up as a shooting star brighter than any other crossed the sky. And I noticed it had a weird color; sea green. But heck, weirder things’d happened.
And I made a wish to equal Annabeth’s.
